Where are you based?

I’m based in Australia. However, our products won’t necessarily be shipped to you from Australia. They can be shipped to you from a nearby country depending on what you order.

How often do you create new designs?

There isn’t a rollout schedule for new designs, but new designs are always in the works.

How long does shipping take?

Because these products are made to order they take a few business days to produce. Once your items have been created you’ll receive an email with shipping information and a tracking number.

How long an order takes to reach you depends on the size of the your order and kinds of items in it. It can take anywhere from 1-4 weeks to receive an order.

Express shipping is not currently available.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day change of mind return policy. If you change your mind about an order, you have 30 days from the day you purchased it to return it and receive a refund, for any reason.

Return shipping costs will be reimbursed up to the amount it cost to ship the order to you.

Who is Hobbes Sakuga?

It’s me. The guy who made this website, and the guy who runs the associated Youtube Channel. I make videos called “sakuga MADs” on that channel.

What is a sakuga MAD?

MAD is an acronym. It stands for “Music Anime Douga” (“Douga” means video in Japanese). So MAD is another word for AMV (Anime Music Video). MADs, or AMVs, are videos where clips of animation are edited to music.

The word sakuga means “great animation”.

So sakuga MADs are videos in which clips of great animation are edited to music.

Something that sets sakuga MADs apart from other kinds of AMVs is that they centre and promote animators.

Where does the name Hobbes Sakuga come from?

I’m really into Calvin & Hobbes so I like to use the name Hobbes as my username.

Because I make Sakuga MADs on my YouTube channel I go by the name Hobbes Sakuga.
